A while back I thought to myself, how about a little trip somewhere in January. The Fall was super busy and I think I deserve a few days off. Once I convinced myself of that, all that was left was, where to? The Bahamas? Jamaica? Even a road trip down to the Keys? Nope. I headed up to my hometown of Philly. I spent two days with my mom and step dad (completely stuffing myself on Mom’s home cooking) and the other two days shooting engagement sessions for my Philly brides coming up this Summer. I must admit, the thought of Philadelphia in January has little to no appeal. Snow, cold, gray, and did I say cold? Try 20 degrees with an even colder wind chill upon arrival. With all that said, I never thought I would’ve enjoyed myself as much as I did. My brides were fantastic, fun, and fearless with the weather. We got the most amazing shots. My suitcases still remain unpacked and my refrigerator is completely empty, but priorities come first…..Here is a sneak peek at the engagement sessions in Philly.
