I love the Post Card Inn. The funky retro converted hotel on St. Pete beach is such a fun place to get married. It fit exactly what Amy and Clayton were looking for. These two live in Utah and enjoy all things hiking, biking, swimming and travel. The moment I talked to Amy on the phone I knew I loved her. We talked about our travels, our dogs, and her vision for her day ; a little bohemian, retro beach vibe. One really cool element that we added into her timeline was a first look which took place off property. Ft. Desoto state park is about 20 minutes away from PCI and is the largest park within the Pinellas County Park System. I frequent that park for engagement sessions and love the surroundings of mangroves, wetlands, hardwoods, and beach. Amy loved the idea of just having time with Clayton prior to the ceremony. Before they saw each other, they stood back to back and read notes they had written to one another. It was such a sweet moment. The first look ended up being the best idea ever as a storm blew in later that afternoon forcing the rest of the wedding to be held inside. Well, there was a break in the storm right around ceremony time so Amy, Clayton and all their guests ran underneath the lawn trees to say “i do”. Amy and Clayton, your day was an adventure and I loved being a part of it. Thank you for choosing me 🙂 Here are some of my favorites from their day.
